Should void conditions exist under floor slabs, Pair Foundation Solutions has the expertise to properly fill voids and avoid the costly alternative of demolishing and replacing the floor. Voids under the existing floor slabs can be caused by a pipe leak where the surrounding backfill is washed away. Another reason a void may occur is due to the slab settling because of poor compaction of the soil while the house is being built. If Pair Foundation Solutions is hired to fix this settlement issue a small void may be introduced during the repair because of the potential lift to level the floor slab. Products such as cementitious grout can then be pumped under the slab to restore its contact with the soil.
